It´s easy to forget about your feet until something goes seriously wrong. We have regular checks on our teeth, we pay special attention to our hair and nails, but in many cases, our feet go unattended! Regular checks can help to avoid many issues by ensuring you are looking after your feet and identifying problems so they can be treated early, but if things do go wrong then thankfully we are always here to help.
Here’s just a few things our patients have had to say about Tiptoe Foot Care and our treatments, including specialist cancer care, children’s foot problems and AiM. Further reviews can be found on Google and Facebook.
Julian Duggan says: A very professional service with expert advice and treatment, friendly and caring staff with the ability to look after your care needs, whilst maintaining a relaxed supportive environment. I would happily recommend Tiptoe Footcare to anyone with foot problems.
Mayuri Vyas reports on Afni’s Pain and Movement Clinic: Amazing! Afni quickly assessed that I had dislocated my toe, from an injury over 20 years ago! She corrected it and is helping me to address all the issues this has caused over the years, particularly my chronic hip bursitis. I’ve seen numerous physios, osteopaths, and even an orthopaedic consultant, no one else had identified the root cause. I have only had 2 sessions and I feel so much better already. I’ve been making appointments for my friends and family with Afni and I know they will be equally impressed.
Reena Bhavani says: Afni has been really supportive and good for my feet in the last few months. The effects of a chemotherapy drug led to ulcers on my feet, which she treated with sensitivity and knowledge. Not many people understand the effects of chemo on feet, and Afni knew her stuff and was gentle and sympathetic in treating my feet, suggesting dressings, comfy socks, various creams etc. I did not realise the importance of podiatry until I went to see Afni- my feet are better because of her interventions. She is great and I thoroughly recommend her!
Mr Alex Loh (Vascular Consultant) says: I have referred quite a few of my patients to Afni and they have nothing but praise and admiration for her care and professionalism. I would fully recommend her for any patients needing podiatry or chiropody treatment.
Beverley (from Cockfosters) says: Afni has seen my daughter for 5 months now for a serious attack of verrucas on both feet. Afni said it would take at least 6 months to sort and after 4 months we are left with one tiny verruca and a wart. Sometimes the treatment was quite difficult for my daughter, but throughout Afni tried to put her at ease and was friendly and supportive. She gave us some very useful advice in between treatments and we have a laugh at each session. I would highly recommend Afni to anyone.
Gail (from Barnet) says: I have just returned from my first visit to Tiptoe to meet Afni and to have an ingrowing toenail treated. Afni was very bright and cheerful, putting me at ease immediately. She was very conscientious and careful in her treatment as well as being sensitive to my nervousness at having the nail treated. Despite my trepidation, the treatment was practically pain free and my feet felt great by the time I left. I can highly recommend Afni as being one of the best chiropodists I have seen.
Wendy Diamont (from Finchley) says: Afni really helped me over the past year. I am a cancer patient and suffered side effects from the treatments I had been receiving, especially my feet. I had really bad ingrowing toenails. Due to Afni’s care, dedication and patience, she has seen me through the pain and solutions. I have now been able to have surgery which she carried out meticulously and with great care. She even let me choose the music and video to see me through the treatment! We think we have now solved the issue, and guess what – I can now wear my favourite boots which I have been unable to wear over the past 18 months! Thanks Afni
Suzanne Clift says: I cannot recommend Tiptoe Foot Care highly enough. Afni has been such a wonderful advocate for my daughter following an ankle injury. She has written letters to the GP to ensure we have consultant and MRI referrals and provided valuable guidance and support in the interim while we wait for the appointments and results. She investigates every avenue to ensure the right result. Above all, she truly cares.
